Please Give Me This Opportunity

Dear God,

First and foremost, I want to thank you for everything that I have. I believe that I can do all things through my belief in you, and I want to do your will. Father, I interviewed for position at a University this week. I am excited about the opportunity to work in a profession where I know I can make a difference. Father, I humbly ask you to give me this job and allow me to flourish there. I have been struggling and even today, I am trying to decide whether to pay my rent or go to visit my sister and her kids for christmas. I don’t want to have to make these decisions lord, I will prefer to be able to pay my rent and do other things. In my current job, I only made 10,000 last year and I have a bachelor’s degree with over 20 years of solid work experience behind me. I have been trusting, praying, and trying to do the right thing. Dear lord please give me this opportunity to make a better life for my family and I.
