please help

Dear God, our cat was killed today. She was only 2, and was pretty much a sister to my 8 year old son. She was the sweetest, most playful and tollerant kitty. Happy to be held even while my son brushed his teeth. Please accept her soul and please please please help my son deal with this loss. He is very sensitive and they were best friends. Please help to be there for him alway and please look out for and protect him.
