Dear God

We live in a world full of hatred, swearing, non believers and gossip. Help me to turn away from all these bad things. You and I both know that I’m trying to repel against all this nonsense but it’s hard to when a lot of the people I know or hang out with do all this stuff too. Sometimes I lose myself in Satan and slip out a swear word or two, or gossiping about my friends because others do it around me. Help me Lord to turn away from sin and to be the stronger and more wiser one amongst the people I know, for I don’t want to be influenced by their actions and words.
