Scared To Be Put Under

Dear God, I have been putting off surgery, I am scared that once I am put under I won’t awake. I love my life and am not ready to go. I have been in so much pain and I know if I don’t get the surgery I will continue to be in pain but still I am scared. Please god give me the courage to go through with this and show me that I will be alright. I shouldn’t keep putting this off because I could die if I wait. Help me dear lord please.
