I’m a terrible person
Dear God: I’m an atheist but sometimes atheists need forgiveness too. I’m falling apart. I’m committing to things and then ignoring them just to watch what happens when I fail. I agree to do things for people and then I just don’t do them. God, forgive me for ruining the life you gave me and grant me the strength to do better in the future.

My prayers are with you, I have a good feeling you are in the right direction if you have turned to God to help you through this crisis…and btw, I think you mean you are agnostic 😉
(God could care less if you worship it from a church or mountain top…the energy you feel and are connecting with is real and is the universal pulse of life)

Dear Friend…
The truth is you are not an atheist… You believe in God if you are praying to Him. There is nothing to be afraid of by admitting this in your heart… Find a private place and get down on your knees, ask Jesus for forgiveness and repent from your sins… Put your whole heart in it… Try…”dear Jesus, please forgive me for my sins against you and help me to repent of my sins… Lead me in You will and allow the Holy Spirit to come into my heart”. The forgiveness is yours… YOU just need to accept it… It’ll change your life in ways you could never imagine!!! Try it… Worst case senario is you spend 5 minutes of your life on your knees… Bet something cool happens!

Hi there. As natural human beings who are the living in the sin nature, we all have the inclination to do terrible things. You call yourself an atheist but you have been led to this site I believe by God. Real atheists would not turn to God but you are seeking help and answers from Him. You are reaching out to God which is wonderful! You See, God leads us into a relationship with Him by His Holy Spirit. We are all sinners but it is through the death on the cross of His Son Jesus Christ that we have forgiveness of sin and a new life in Him. “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life ” John 3:16. We are all deserving of eternal punishment in hell but God made a way for us to be forgiven and made new . Jesus took our punishment on the cross at Calvary 2000 years ago. God loves you and wants a relationship with you. All you have to do is talk to God and ask Him to forgive you through Jesus Christ His Son, for everything and He will. I strongly recommend you find a good bible believing church and have a talk to the pastor there. He will be more than happy to talk with you and answer any questions you may have. Do you have access to a bible or the internet? You can Google ” God’s plan of forgiveness ” and you will have lots of info come up. God will help you if you ask Him and trust Him. John 14:6 says “I am the Way, the Truth and the Life. No man cometh to the Father, but by Me” . Hope this helps and God bless. Alana.

Hi again. I need to apologize and correct the statement I made about real atheists wouldn’t turn to God. What I meant was most atheists wouldn’t normally frequent sites like this one. I do apologize once again. My error!
