For my ex husband

Dear God, I pray for my soon to be ex husband Al. I pray that one day, he’ll find salvation in you and fully surrender his life to you. I pray that one day, he’ll become the father he needs to be to our daughter. I pray that one day we can be civil and have a friendship for the sake of our daughter. I pray that you open his eyes to your truth. I pray that he doesn’t become abusive to his next wife just as he was to me. Direct him to the right path and teach him what true love really is. Teach him to love himself so he can learn to love others. Last but not least, I pray for his family, my soon to be ex in laws. I pray that you convict them and show them what true Christianity really is which is genuinely loving people and not destroying them with gossip and hate. Thank you Lord for healing me after all the abuse I went through with my ex. Help me move on and continue in your path that you have for me. Help me focus on the important things and most of all, on my daughter, to be a light to her and raise her the way you would have me raise her. Thank you, all glory belongs to you…
