I wish

Dear god,

My boyfriend and I just recently broke up. Correction, he broke up with me. I just feel so alone; I don’t want to tell my family because they told me it would happen when he went away to college and that I had been foolish to even pursue a relationship. It is true that I really loved him. I pray for the strength to let him go. I pray that he has a fulfilling life, filled with joy and opportunities. I pray that my heart will no longer ache in his absence.
