hope and fear
Dear God:
I have, I believe, made every effort to hold to the hope that there is something, anything beyond the grinding, materialism and hopelessness that washes over the world like a tsunami. I am drowning. Jess and I are with out heat and are down to one mean a day most days. My brother can no longer afford to carry us month to month on SSI and if we can’t pay the mortgage this next week we will be forced on to the streets. He will hate himself and that is unearned, he has carried us for many months. I’m so afraid. we have no heat and its cold. Please, there must be hope, there must be something that will save us. Jess works so hard, isn’t there a door that could open?
