Dear God,

Please help me to be patient and to trust that whatever happens in my life is Your will. Please help me find a way to keep a roof over our heads, and to know that whether it is the one we have now or another of Your choosing is not of concern to me. I would really, really like to get this job that I am interviewing for tomorrow, but if I do not, help me to see Your will clearly in that too. Please grant me the courage to move forward to complete my last class assignment. And please give us the strength to handle the possibility of a new baby in all of this, helping me to trust that if it is Your will, You will help us through this scary and exciting time. Give me strength to do Your footwork and the trust, patience and surrender to have peace when my limited human expectations of the outcome fall short of what You would have for me. Strengthen my faith through my remembrance of Your past works in my life and the gifts for which I have been so truly blessed to receive. Amen.
