About The Project

The Dear God Project is a global platform for sharing inner hopes, fears and aspirations through the medium of prayer.

The Dear God Project started as an experiment in 2009 with the goal of becoming the world’s biggest archive of anonymous prayers.

For those who submit their prayers The Dear God Project provides comfort in the knowledge that no prayer goes unheard and that the world is listening. All payers are anonymous and are published here to act as a reminder of the the struggles, achievements, desires and hope of the world.

The website moved from Tumblr in 2015 and the website was enhanced to support faster submission of prayers and more interactive tools for users.
