Dear God,

I humbly pour my heart out before you.  You know my innermost thoughts, Lord, and I praise You for my many blessings.  I praise you for your grace and mercies upon me, as I am so undeserving of them.  Lord, I have failed you in so many ways, I have failed my husband, I have failed my children.  Please guide and direct my actions and words so that I may become a wife and mother of noble character.  I pray that you surround Jack with your Holy Spirit, soften his heart Lord, and fill him with your love.  Guide his steps and actions, Lord, and deliver him from temptation.  He is such a good man, Lord, and I know you have a good work to complete in him.  You alone can change his heart and release the hatred from it.  You alone can mend our marriage, Father, and I trust you will.  I will pray without ceasing, as I know he is my one and only.  I trust your timing, as I know You hold the future. I praise you through these difficult times, as I know you are purifying us as  a precious metal, until your perfect timing brings us back together.  Please, Father, protect him and keep him safe for me.  Allow me to mend myself and heal my own pains so that I may love him perfectly, as he deserves.  I have been a mean and hateful woman, Lord, undeserving of anyone’s love – much less his.  Please forgive my many failures and allow him to forgive my shortcomings.  Complete your work in me, so that I may go forth and profess Your Holy Name by my words and actions.  Complete your work in him so that we may come together stronger and more faithful, ready to do your work on this earth.  In Jesus precious name, Amen
