Dear God,

In times of need, in times of nothingness, I look up. I ask for your help and wisdom for the doctors and my entire family tree and friends. Things aren’t looking well. Illnesses are striking, old age is taking its toll. Young ones are running out of energy to support themselves. I ask for your help, your wisdom, your strength, your love. They are not believers of you, Father. But I still believe in you, and I pray that you protect them and help them. Also, I’d love to say thank you for giving me such a wonderful person to love. I know that you gave him to me for a reason, and that reason is going to stay. I will love him forever, Lord. I will. I ask for your guidance to You. I know I have sinned and I know I am not always to do as I am told, but I need You to help me get in the right mind set. Help me get on the right track. One very last thing. Teach me how to pray like so many know how? I only speak what comes to my mind, what I want to tell you, but others seem to be “better” at praying. Is there such a thing or am I thinking too much? I’m listening now, Father. Thank you, Father. I love you. Amen.
