Dear God,

There are so many things that I wanna type in here as a prayer, but Lord, even if I don’t type anything on here You know everything. I just wanna lift up my family to you Lord. It has been an ongoing struggle for me to even just love my family as much as I love my other brothers and sisters outside my family. I lift up to You my dad who I have no contact to. Let me have courage to be able to talk to him and rebuild our relationship. Help me bring Him to heaven because I really want to spend eternity with Him. I also lift up to you my mom who I’m also having problems with. Please let her realize her wrongdoings and to go back to You, just like before. I owe her my faith in You and I know that I can lead her back to You just as much as she first led me to You. Next, I lift up to you my brother. I want to have a good relationship with him. Help him do good in school and just be a good kid. Also, I ask you Lord to just take away anything that is hindering him from seeing You… all the rudeness and disrespect that he has been giving us. I ask You to protect Him with Your divine mercy from any harm, temptation or anything that would hurt Him. Let Him seek You because he doesn’t right now. Also, I lift up to You my youngest brother. Let him have a relationship with You also, and to me too Lord. I barely talk to Him, so please help us have a relationship with each other. With all the bad things that has happened to our family, I ask you to please heal these pains so that he may be able to open up to others. Lord, I lift up to You my family as a whole. I want to bring my family to heaven Lord, and I cannot do it without Your help. It seems impossible right now, but Lord, I ask You to please bring our family together. I have hope that one day, we would all be complete again, living in one house, a home set apart just for You. Although I have never felt complete in my own house, I still love my family Lord. They are Your blessings to me and I thank You for giving them to me, although ever since I was young it has been a struggle. They have made me stronger, and I know that I only get stronger even more each day dealing with all of their crap 😛 On behalf of my family’s sins, let me suffer whatever they are supposed to suffer in purgatory, so that they may be able to shorten their stay there and see you face to face sooner in heaven. It is a lot to ask and there might be times that I’d regret this, but I know I can go through all those sufferings in the future because of You.

Lord, I ask you to please bless all families. Protect them from this ugly world, full of lies and our messed up culture that encourages divorce, pre-marital sex, abortion, etc. These are one of the main destroyers of families and people do not realize it. Lord, help us to value our families more, for us to love coming home to our families. I ask you also to forgive us from all of the pain and suffering that we’ve caused ourselves, but most importantly, the pain that we’ve cause You. on behalf of all parents who have abandoned their children, and to all children who have abandoned their parents, I am deeply sorry Lord. Let us all forgive our families who have deeply hurt us, and may we just bring each other all up to You.
