Dear God…

Father, I need You desperately… I am constantly coming to realize that without You, I am nothing. Father, I am so, so… weak. Without You, I have not the strength to overcome evil. And so Father, I pray that You would give me the strength and the wisdom to overcome evil…and that You would just fill my life with Your presence.

I am so angry with myself, Father… and yet, I cannot seem to stop what I know to be bad. I am angry to the point of tears – tears of anger and frustration with myself that quickly turn into tears of pain and sorrow…and tears asking for forgiveness.

Father God, I humbly ask for Your forgiveness… And I ask that You rescue me from this downward spiral. Father, help me overcome my weakness… I believe in You, and I put my faith in You alone. I pray that I would be able to fix my eyes upon You, Father, and that I would be able to follow You. This world has nothing for me, Lord… Help me to give my all, my everything for You, Father God.
