Everything Happens For a Reason

Dear God,

I’m lost and don’t know what to do.  I believe that everything happens for a reason.  I also believe that where we are in life is exactly where You want us to be at that moment.

Nineteen years ago You brought me to a job at a Catholic institution.  I love being here, but the past year has not been going well.  I try and try, but I feel as though Satan is working in various people here to take away my spirit.  They are succeeding slowly but surely.  I used to be so excited to come to work, but now I dread it every day.  All day long I deal with disgruntled parents and teachers.  I put my heart and soul into this place, but the constant, unrelenting bombardment on a daily basis has me lost.

I know I have to trust in You, and I know You know what’s right for me, but it’s getting impossible. I’m exhausted physically and mentally and don’t know where to turn.  Please hear my prayer and bring me peace and guidance.
