From Someone Who Doesn’t Deserve It

Dear God, I am a person who has been blessed with an 18 year marriage and a teenage daughter. It is because of my wife and best friend who pulled me back to you from way back when. Since I departed you back then, I did a great deal of sinful things. And even though I have been baptized in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, I often reflect on my past and continue to sin from time to time.

My only request is that I gain the strength to follow in your ways more fully. That I become more committed to you and your word.

Please God, help me. Help me become a better husband, father, and friend to others. Help me grow in your ways and become a light to others around me. He me lead a life that is humble, but not stressful. A life filled with love and not resentment. I beg of you, Lord, to forgive my inequities.
