You are the God of this City

Dear God,
I pray for this city, this country Thailand. It belongs to You. And I pray that as we face corruption and unnecessary violence, that you will show love, power and grace. I pray for healing where fighting takes place, and cleansing when blood is spilled and diseases are spread. I pray that You will give knowledge, discernment and good judgment to those who run this country and who have to make huge decisions. I pray for the King of Thailand, for his health, for his mind, and for his heart. I pray that you keep him and love on him in his heartache and helplessness. Most of all, I pray that You, the King of all Kings, will show Your great love to all of your people, the people of Thailand.
Lord, I know that everything will happen according to Your will and Your plan but it’s frustrating sometimes, to see people do stupid things and to see a country fall apart like this. Still, no matter what happens, I pray that Your will is done and that all glory is given to You. I pray that through this, people might see You and know You more. I pray for all the wavering hearts, all the stone cold hearts, all the dead bones in this country because they desperately need your life in them. I pray that Your light will shine through Your people, that we may be the salt of this earth in this time of need.
God, I thank You because I know You are always there, watching, listening and holding us as close as You can. I know that it is us who try to push You away, who try to keep You to one side, but I know You will never let me go. Thank you for Your love, thank You for Your grace that saves us.
