Dear God,

I like him a lot. I know he has pain that I won’t ever understand, but I want to be there for him, to support him…I know he seems lost inside his own head right now, but I am kinda, too. Our fear of being hurt is overshadowing everything and creating distance, give us strength to come together. Please give me the chance to show him who I truly am: the vulnerable, loving, nurturing, caring, giving woman. You know us both, God, and You know how to help us move forward. I don’t know what the right thing to do is. Help me to love him the way he needs to be loved, and he love me the way I need to be loved. Help us to move forward together, without fear, but in trust and love. Help us to create that bond that doesn’t break, but endures….Please give him Your peace and love, and let him know he isn’t alone….and that I will be here for the long haul, if he will let me.
