Dear God,

I love you. This is an odd thing for me to say, considering my group of friends, the way I talk, my opinions. I am a lesbian. I am sexually active in the context of a committed, loving, unmarried relationship. And I love you with all of my heart. Some people find this hard to believe. Sometimes I find it hard to believe. I never used to believe in God, much less Jesus. But now I have found your love inside my heart. Thank you.
